EAGLES OF THE QUARTER

Congratulations to LC Wells, our Operations Eagle of the Quarter. A valued member of the Southern Eagle team since 2016, LC began his career as a night-shift order selector before moving into the checker role, where he helped insure, trucks got loaded correctly. LC now works in Receiving, where he unloads trucks and stocks incoming products, helping keep operations running smoothly and efficiently. Along with his daily duties, he supports replenishment on the warehouse pick line and assists the team on the flow racks. He is always ready to help wherever needed, reflecting his strong commitment to teamwork. LC was also a member of the Louisiana National Guard from 1979 to 1994. Outside of work, LC is a proud father of three and a grandfather. In his free time, LC enjoys walking, listening to music, and watching football. On Sundays, he likes to relax with a cold Bud Light while cheering on his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. Fun fact: LC is famous for calling everybody “Baby Boy.” Congratulations to LC on earning the title of Warehouse Operations Eagle of the Quarter and thank you for your dedication each day.

Morris Davis has been chosen as Delivery Sales Driver of the 2nd Quarter. Morris started his employment with Southern Eagle on October 24, 2013, as Delivery Sales Assistant and worked his way up to a Driver Saleman on August 5, 2015. Morris and his significant other Javan have been together for 8 years. In his spare time, Morris enjoys spending time with his two boys, Morris IV (13) and Makkai (12). He enjoys going fishing, watching his boys play sports and watching the Saints on television with an ice-cold Bud Light.

Joseph Clark Jr. has been a valued member of the Southern Eagle team since September 7, 2022, serving as a Merchandiser. Over the past four years, he has consistently demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and a strong commitment to providing outstanding service. After completing several weeks of training, Joseph successfully took ownership of a major route covering multiple stores throughout the Gentilly and New Orleans East areas. He has built strong relationships with our retail partners and earned their trust through reliable service and attention to detail. Outside of work, Joseph is a proud father to his 9-year-old son, who excels academically and enjoys learning. He values spending quality time with his family, enjoys basketball, and says his favorite Southern Eagle beverage is Lime Cutwater. Joseph’s positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and commitment to excellence make him a deserving recipient of the Eagle of the Quarter Award. Congratulations, Joseph, and thank you for representing Southern Eagle with pride every day.

Julius Medrano began his career at Southern Eagle in June 2024 after several years as a teacher and basketball coach at an all-girls high school in Metairie. Rumor has it that, while he was a great teacher and motivational leader for the team, he also had a reputation for handing out warrantless detentions. Julius was recognized as “Rookie of the Year” after helping the team pull off an unforgettable AB National Convention. Julius married Broklyn this spring and was so excited that he celebrated with two parties—one locally and another in his hometown of Chicago. He enjoys the beach and hiking, interests he developed while living in Southern California, and now takes advantage of the unique opportunities to explore New Orleans with his wife. Above all, he dominates the Mid City Indy C-Store route he earned last year and is always looking for opportunities to win. His favorite beer is Michelob Ultra, which he keeps on tap at home.

Matt Paluch grew up in Miami, Florida and moved to New Orleans in 2004, where he has lived ever since. He has been with Southern Eagle for 13 years, holding roles as a merchandiser, non-alcohol account manager, relief rep, grocery account manager, French Quarter off-premise account manager, and now off-premise Team Leader. He is a history buff who has taken road trips across the country, visiting forty-three states with his girlfriend, Jenny. He enjoys outdoor adventures, once kayaking across Lake Pontchartrain. He is also an avid hiker, especially in the Grand Canyon, where he has hiked to the bottom more than a dozen times and once completed a rim-to-rim hike in a single day (27 miles in 13 hours). Matt lives Uptown and is actively involved in unique events throughout the city. He has a three-legged dog named Lucky, who has a heart murmur and is deaf, nearly blind, and has no teeth. He is a float captain in Tucks and loves all things Mardi Gras. His favorite beer is Michelob Ultra, though he also enjoys Cutwater.
