Congratulations to the Bud Light Knight, our Sales Eagle of the Quarter! Chris became an Eagle in September of 2014.  He began his career as a Relief Account Manager before earning an off-premise sales route on the West Bank. Chris continues to raise the bar in sales, incentives, and overall success throughout his territory. He has placed near the top or at the top of all incentives and key company performance initiatives in 2023. Chris proudly served our country as an airman in the United States Air Force. In 1999, he began his time in the Air Force as an Airman Basic and rose to end his career in 2003 as a Tech Sgt. During that time, he also served as a Security Force Officer and as a Para-Rescue Operator. In addition to his route responsibilities, he currently serves as a Medical Advocate and Trauma Counselor for victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking at the New Orleans Family Justice Center and Safe Harbor. Chris has taught self-defense and Trauma Informed Defense for the past 6 years. Chris has even taught a self-defense course to about 50 SESS employees. His hobbies include training in MMA, training and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), weightlifting, writing short stories, staying current with his Goodreads novels and down time with his wife Helen, son Brady and daughter Leia.

Brian was born and raised in Metairie and lived Uptown for most of his college days while attending the University of New Orleans. He met his wife, Kelly, through her brother…who was the drummer for one of Brian’s bands in the early 2000s. Brian stills plays rhythm and bass guitar and sings in a rock and roll band currently. They were married shortly after Katrina in 2005 and have two boys, Aidan (16) and Colin (14), who are both on Jesuit’s drum line. Brian first became interested in joining the Southern Eagle team while serving as Vice-President under Dax Barrett in the St. Benilde Men’s Club…it was likely one of Dax’s easiest sells. He has 15+ years of computer/IT experience after having served as IT Manager for a handful of law firms in the downtown New Orleans area. Some of the key IT projects Brian has been focused on are: 1.Working with BIOS Technologies to improve our defenses against cyberattacks by updating licensing and software which include these additional security enhancements. He has also educated our users on how to better identify potential phishing campaigns that sometimes slip through the various email filters we currently utilize. 2.Worked directly with Verizon and SESS Management to identify company-issued devices, adjusted our plan contract and greatly reduced the number of those devices that makes more sense for our business needs. We are also now on a device replacement schedule to address older phones, tablets and laptops with the goal to remove them from rotation prior to end-of-life. 3.To eliminate the need for any on-site file servers, he has migrated everyone’s H: drive into their respective Microsoft accounts. The remaining network drives on our servers will also be migrated to the cloud removing the need for physical storage in the event of any potential catastrophic event that could disrupt our business flow. As you can see, Brian has been a very valuable and integral part of keeping SESS up to date on the ever-changing cyber world!!!! Brian says that after being brought on board in 2020, he realized quickly that this is where he is supposed to be. He is very grateful for the opportunity to assist Southern Eagle in enhancing our systems to keep the company prepared for what the future may bring. In addition to his love of music, Brian is also an avid fan of the Tigers, Saints and Pels...and can't wait to see what Carr is able to bring to the team this coming season.

Congratulations Tim Kym Wynn! Our Team Leader Eagle of the Quarter! Tim joined Southern Eagle in June of 2006, starting out as a Bulk Merchandiser, working in the accounts through many Mardi Gras, SAMCOM’s and other special events in the marketplace.  He then earned a promotion to Lead Merchandiser where he played an intricate role in many of our creative display building, cooler wrap and neon installs in some key accounts throughout the market.  His forward thinking and knowledge of our portfolio has aided in many successes in the accounts that he has worked on throughout the years.  In 2022, Tim was again promoted to Merchandiser Team Lead. He has been a great coach, trainer, and mentor to many of the new Eagles who have joined the merchandising team and Tim consistently demonstrates leadership, problem solving and communication skills.     Tim is a father of 4 (2 girls and 2 boys).  He spends his free time enjoying his family and working on his clothing line “WYNNING APPAREL”.
